Not sure if generally better than pure RT, but for sure a very fun deck to pilot. One advantage of the Zoodiac version is a much better matchup into Enneacraft - I went 6-0 into it, going second 5 of those 6 times. It's very comical slapping a 4+ material Zeus and watching the opponent frantically trying to search for a way to play around it on turn 3.
Barrage is nice because sometimes going second we need another push but we already used our normal summon for Eldam or Swem, however more than one copy leads to too many awkward Zoo-heavy hands in my experience.
