Notes & Combos

The bridges in this deck are pretty smooth, access to any of the engines gives you access to the other 2; so many of these starters can just help you pivot if 1 engine gets stopped. I've misplayed a lot on the way here, but each mistake is something to learn from so I'm not too pressed about the delay in my climb. The inspiration from this deck came from building and playing around with Patrick Hoban's Radiant Tri-Yummy (I liked the deck, but I just love playing Mitsu and missed the deck a little since the formats have advanced).

The ratios are what I feel are the best atm; you can run Varuroon + Mandate or Barrage + Tenki or Pre-prep, but I felt if those cards resolved it was in a win-more situation when I was dueling others to figure out this deck. I did have Zeus in the Extra, but the scenarios it came out I could either just summon Murakamo instead (there was only 1 duel I missed Zeus out of the many) or I was already in a hard lose situation regardless, so it didn't help me enough to try and access it.

My philosophy behind this deck was to put as many cards that had impact as possible, so I was playing mainly cards where I didn't care too much whether it resolved or not, as long as the bodies/extenders could stay on board. Big thanks to Daniel Duong, he was the kinda voice to push me to explore and experiment with decks and catch me up with modern deck building in our talks. I wanted my non-engine to be playable because this deck thins itself A LOT. You draw 3 on top of the end board it has, and it's mostly done with 1 card combos, so you will typically see some of your non-engine off full combo. Plus the non-engine helps with going 2nd, just helping to make things easier to play through.
