Notes & Combos

It's been a while since i played Lab up to M1 and finally i got the chance to use it again and thanks to the release of Harmonia, a free Lv.7 body that im happy to say:

SEC is back!

I tested SEC Lab at the start of July and holy moly if it was awful, the ladder was full of RT Zoo, Sky Striker and Elfnote KT Slops and some Branded, so i ended up using Orcust up to M5.

Then i got demoted from M3 to M5 and in that moment i just gave up lol and with the hope that the meta will change a little with the release of the new pack and indeed it has changed ( at least for me during my climb)

I had a few games with Harmonia while running SEC and trust me it was miserable most of the time, So i just dropped it and just went on without it.

Personally i felt that Harmonia wasn't good enough to win me games, especially vs Branded.

Matchup:

KT: With the release of Harmonia, i have to say 7/10 of my games were vs KT, and oh boy i was so happy whenever they summoned Harmonia, SEC is so much easier now to use. Bonus points if they run Elfnote. Still you have to respect Harmonia especially when you have Lovely on the field, so play your chains carefully.

A combination of FFV and SEC was good enough to control the game. DDV is just better in general vs everything but without Harmonia it's awfully expensive to use it.

RT Zoo:

Your only hope is to have access to FFV, since SEC is very hard to resolve vs them.

Branded:

Turn 0 SEC can be massive but that depends on their End Board. Also they have the kit to dodge SEC so you have to mind that as well. FFV can check most of their cards so use that to your advantage.

Sky Striker:

Impulse and FFV are your only hopes

Final thoughts:

I grinded my **** off today, from M4 to M1, and im glad that went well, lost 4-5 rankup games to missplays and miscalculations but overall i was lucky enough to pull it off. I'm happy that there were less RT Zoo and more KT so i took advantage of that and had my way to M1.
